Ayo Di is not only a product of the pandemic and other misfortunes, but also of the monotony in music, with artists, new and established, wanting to dedicate themselves only to one genre, having an industry focused on profit and not on art. After returning from China, where he lived for many years, it was in Bolivia, where he currently resides, where the project of writing and producing a new album began. However, this was not his first approach to music, since years before he used to work as a DJ having had presentations in different radios and TV shows, besides many stages both in China and Bolivia. For his first album, Ayo Di set himself the goal of demonstrating how far a person can go working alone, with very basic equipment and in his own room, always taking care that the quality of all the work is comparable to the big productions. Besides, being tired of listening to the same music that sounds everywhere, he focused on achieving a new sound, based on elements of different current genres and others that are already forgotten. This is how he ended up not only producing his own album, but also directing his own music videos. This is Ayo Di, an artist who was able to do from his room what others do with big equipment and budgets, and thus start this new stage, not only in his life, but in music, and all just to follow an ideology "do whatever you want".
